Training Time

Guys, I did it!! Every day this week "create new training plan" has been an item on my to-do list and I have kept moving it forward everyday. I promised myself this morning I would get it done today and....I DID IT!! *high five*

I opted for a 3 day training program that would incorporate both upper and lower body on 2 of the 3 days. My reason for this is because I want to do a higher rep range and really burn out the lower body and lean out a bit (not a ton but the goal is long and lean, so lighter weight, higher reps it is!).

The other benefit of a program that combines upper and lower body in the same workout is that you can superset upper and lower body easily as it gives the other body part a chance to rest.

Day 1 is back, quads and biceps. Day 2 is shoulders...just shoulders. Day 3 is chest, hamstrings and triceps. Day 4 is no lift but a 20 minute HIIT.

This workout gets me (and YOU!) in and out of the gym in 1 hour, which is really about all the time I have right now and I want to make every minute count.
